I initially started this blog for poetic verse or song that I may be working on.. I'm changing that now to one of thoughts, sentiments, words, etc.

Life.. its not easily defined. For some its about crafting yourself. For others its about.. learning who you are. For others still it is about realizing what you are going to do.

The simple fact is: Life is ticking and you are sitting at a computer, reading my blog.

No more then a few hours ago, there was sunlight, warm air, and plenty of earth unsullied by the confines of modern construction. There was life going on. I spent mine here, in front of a electronic device. Expecting more and more to let go of the life outside of my home and accept that this electronic conglomeration of existence is all we have.

Life.. its ticking.. we only have so many grains of sand before ours is up.

Go out tonight, live life. Have a drink or two, catch a show or go to a club. Have a conversation with people. Go to a museum, see fine art which will out last our grains of sand, see buildings which have history, or see a new one, starting its own history.

Slowly we are all accepting digitalization as our primary source of life. We are all bowing down to video games and social networking via internet instead of going out in the world, developing friendships, understanding each other, creating new experiences, learning what the world is.

Digitalization of life is voluntary imprisonment. Letting your life be reigned by Myspace, Email, Television, Webpages, MMO's, etc is robbing us of the human experience. These things are meant as utilities and entertainment, not as a way of life. These things as a way of life is prison.

Go out, meet new people, enjoy your life and the life of those around you. Trust me, unplugging is the best choice a human being can make these days, and you only have so many chances to do so before your last grain of sand has run out.
